This policy applies to purchases made directly from caravanseraipress.com. Purchases made through Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, booksellers or other external retailers are subject to that retailer’s own returns and refund policy.
Physical books
If you are a UK consumer buying online, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving it.
After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the item.
To request a return, please contact us through the Contact page and include your order details.
Unless the book is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.
Returned items should be kept in reasonable condition. We may reduce a refund if an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it and its value has been reduced.
Signed and personalised books
A standard signed copy may be returned under the same conditions as other physical books.
Books that have been personally inscribed, dedicated or otherwise customised specifically for you cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders
If your order arrives damaged, is faulty, is materially not as described, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible through the Contact page.
Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Refunds for cancelled physical orders
Where you exercise a statutory right to cancel an eligible physical order, we will refund the price of the returned goods.
We will also refund the cost of our standard delivery option. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, the additional cost of that service is not refundable.
Refunds will normally be made to the payment method originally used for the purchase.
Digital products
Paid ebooks and other digital downloads are normally supplied immediately after successful payment.
Where required, before receiving an immediate digital download you will be asked to consent to receiving the digital content during the statutory cancellation period and acknowledge that your cancellation right will be lost once access to the download is provided.
Once the digital content has been supplied following that consent, you cannot normally cancel the purchase simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your legal rights where digital content is faulty, corrupted, materially not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

Free Access in Iran
Digital books supplied free of charge through the Free Access in Iran programme are not purchases and therefore do not have a purchase price to refund.
Any problems accessing a file can be reported through the Contact page.
Refund processing
Once a refund has been approved, we will issue it to the original payment method.
The time taken for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
